INGREDIENTS

Potatoes - 4-5 medium sized.
Green Chillies - 3-4 finely chopped.
Bread - 3 slices (crumbed) fresh.
Cornflour - 3 tbsp.
Shahi Jeera - ½ tbsp.
Kutmeer - 2 tbsp.
Finely chopped.
Salt - to taste.
Oil - to fry.

METHOD

  1. Firstly put plenty of water to boil in a large pan to steam the Dhoklas else one could also use directions from the Dhokla steamers that are available.
  2. In a bowl mix together water, sugar, salt, citric acid well add in soda and besan.
  3. Mix the ingredients well using your hands, break up all lumps in the besan.
  4. Pour this into a steaming vessel bowl that is greased with oil.
  5. Steam one water for atleast 20 - 22 mins until done.
  6. Remove and prepare the temper pour over dhokla and serve warm.
