These
are Sindhi dahi vadas often served at lunches & dinners |
INGREDIENTS:
FOR
THE VADAS
Urad dal : 1 cup (white)
Ginger : 1 inch piece
Jeera seeds : 1/2 tsp
Green chillies : 3-4 nos
Oil : for deep frying.
FOR
THE DAHI
Prepared
Dahi : 2 cups
Salt : to taste
Red Chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
Jeera crushed : 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves : 2 tbsp chopped
Chaat masala : 1/2 tsp

METHOD
- Wash &
soak the urad dal in water for 3-4 hours, drain and grind to a
fine paste, use a little water if desired, add in all the other
ingredients mix well, deep fry vadas in hot oil until golden brown,
drain and keep aside.
- Beat up the
curds well, add a little water if desired
- Soak the
vadas in a little water squeeze well and add to the beaten curds.
- Arrange all
the vadas in the curds
- Sprinkle
the chaat masalas on top and garnish with coriander leaves chill
& serve!
