INGREDIENTS
Coriander
Seeds : ½ cup
Cummin Seeds : 1teaspoon
Fennel Seeds : 1teaspoon
Fenugreek Seeds : 1teaspoon
Cinnamon Stick : 2 inch piece
Cloves : 1teaspoon
Cardamom Seeds : 1teaspoon
Dried Curry Leaves : 1tbsp
Chillie Powder : 2 teaspoon (optional)
Ground Rice : 2 tbsp (optional) |
METHOD
- In a dry
pan / tava on a medium flame roast all the spices separately stirring
well until all the aroma is released.
- Do not let
the spices burn. Put them all into a dry grinder and blend on
high speed until finely powdered.
- Lastly add
in Red chilli powder and ground rice.
- Mix well
and store in a airtight container. Use in all Ceylonese foods.
